CAJAD attaches importance to preservation and development of cultural values among our population especially among young people. In this light,
CAJAD undertakes a series of activities to foster creativity, to create the love for our local cultures, to develop talents, to encourage performing
arts and recreation, as avenues for learning, self-employment and development.
CAJAD trains youths on diverse aspects of performing arts/theatre, notably script writing, acting/staging, filming, stage lighting/sound, choreography, poetry, painting etc.
CAJAD creates and animates theatre clubs in local communities and schools. CAJAD equally runs a club called Bright Future which has produced a couple of unedited movies,
alongside a series of fun-shows. This club is often used to carry out some of our sensitisation activities in communities.
CAJAD organises theatre festivals that brings together youth theatre groups to display messages, through theatre and works of arts, on diverse social subjects that affect youths and
the society at large. This particular initiative in CAJAD is called Limbe mini-Theatre Festival (LITHAFES).
